A business card that commands attention is a mixture of various elements like the perfect image, a great logo, and easily readable fonts that are also well sized enough to allow for all the information you want to present on the surface of a small business card.   But if you have all these elements and your card is still missing that “something” and not grabbing attention then you may want to consider some other aspects of your business card.

1.For one, you can check to see if you’ve chosen colors that are bold enough to command the eyes and how those colors relate to your brand name and identity.

2.Sometimes putting the focus on your company tagline or slogan might just do the trick. Something like “we do business like no other” emphasized at the top of your card with your logo just below it or as a prominent element of the background might just do the trick.  An evocative title or slogan can really make a business card carry a more personal message that grabs attention.

3.Going back to the concept of color, make sure there is enough contrast on the surface of your business card. You want to choose two or at most three colors that complement each other.  A good example would be the classic red, white and black peppered throughout the various elements of your business card like the logo and text.
