Products Description:

Accentuate  Your Brand With Suede Laminated Postcards.

Suede laminated postcard printing is phase one of an aggressive marketing campaign that gets results. A well-directed postcard campaign can launch your business to new heights. While it’s important to know your overall objective and marketing strategy, it’s also important to pick the best product for the job.

High-quality postcard printing depends on high-quality stock. At Guru Printers, we offer three choices for card finish: glossy, matte, and silk laminated. Pair that with the perfect size for your design and you’ll have high-quality postcards that don’t break down in the mail. Your printed design arrives crisp in your client’s mailbox. Our Go Green paper and soy-based ink provide you with a postcard printing experience that advances your business on every level.

Suede laminated postcard printing allows you to tailor your interactions with clients and potential clients. Get your exact message across, no matter what you’re actually saying. While all postcard campaigns have the ultimate goal of keeping your company fresh in the minds of your clients, there are multiple ways to achieve this.

The most common themes of postcard mailers are discounts, reminders, tips, and surveys.

Create Brand Awareness With Postcards.

Discounts sweeten the pot for anyone on the fence about returning to your company. If you offer excellent work or products, a little nudge is all it will take to get customers flocking back to you. Use discounts to boost yourself through periods that are traditionally slow for your industry.

Reminders work best for seasonal services. Sending a suede postcard every six months reminds people to see their dentist or get their trees trimmed. If you offer a seasonal product or service, a postcard is a way to indirectly remind your customers that it’s that time of year again.

Tips are a great way to establish yourself as an authority leader. The time you spend producing eye-catching and thought-provoking content will pay dividends when your clients turn to you with their thorny problems.

No business is perfect. Customer surveys give you a chance to see what you could do better and what you shouldn’t change. Keeping your customers aware of your major business decisions makes them feel a connection to your brand. They’re really part of the team.

Postcard printing brings your business into clients’ work or home environment. Guru Printers is proud to offer top quality suede / velvet  postcard stock and a comprehensive four-color printing package that will make your postcards shine. Order today!

What are Suede or Velvet Laminated Postcards?

Research shows that 57% of consumers believe postcard marketing is an excellent way to establish relationships because postcards make them feel valued. More than 60 people will visit your website after you distribute direct mailers. Most of these people are first-time customers.

Unlike digital marketing methods, postcards ensure efficient brand identity with 70% increased effectiveness. Therefore, printing postcards are a valuable marketing method for businesses. Velvet laminated postcards allow you to make a professional statement and stand out from the competition.

These postcards tailored to your business needs offer a rich and velvety texture. Thus, you can use this marketing method to acquire and retain customers. Post cards with suede lamination grab the attention of your customers. At the same time, they are durable and resistant to scuff, water, and tear. Today’s article will discuss the qualities of velvet laminated postcards. Read on!

Qualities of Suede Laminated Postcards

Suede offers a dull, soft, and luxurious finish, giving your postcards a velvet-like and muted look and feel. It feels like a soft and elegant paper with a premium plastic-like film applied to both sides of the postcard.

In addition, velvet lamination is resistant to tear and protects the colors, including darker hues, from rubbing off the paper’s edge. So, velvet lamination is an excellent choice for businesses to make their postcards stand out.

suede postcards are thick, scratch resistant, add depth to graphics, increase the life of the printed material, ensure an elegant appearance with a non-glossy effect, and streamline the entire marketing strategy to entice your target audience.

Softer and Firmer

Although most people compare velvet laminated postcards to matte-finished products, when you take a closer look at these postcards, you will see the colors have more depth on the paper. Suede laminated postcards have a non-glossy effect, making the colors appear muted.

That’s why these postcards are known as laminated velvet cards. When you overlay a paper with velvet lamination, the paper feels softer with a leather-like or suede appearance. In addition, this lamination adds a firmness by ensuring a protective layer, making your postcards highly durable, sturdy, and reliable.

Neat and Unblemished

Another quality of velvet laminated postcards is their ability to withstand environmental conditions and remain neat and unblemished. The reason is the overlaid added layer prevents the postcard from bending. Thus, these postcards last for a long time and save you money.

According to Guru Printers, a professional printing service in LA, velvet lamination prevents the printed material from scratching and scuffing. Unlike other papers used for postcard printing prone to scarping and residues, velvet lamination does not have these problems. So, the final printed product has a neat surface.

Resistant to Damages

Velvet laminated postcards have become popular in LA and other regions of the United States because they are durable and resistant to damage. For example, the ink sealed into the paper prevents the risk of running and smudging. A paper with no velvet lamination is prone to smudging and other damages.

Guru Printers use velvet lamination to ensure durability and keep the postcards durable and slightly bendable. The purpose is to add softness to the printed material. Besides, lamination adds strength to the postcards, making them ideal for frequent and prolonged use. Velvet laminated postcards printed by Guru Printers are resistant to:

  • Water
  • Stains
  • Smudges
  • Fingerprints
  • Abrasions
  • Wrinkles
  • Dirt/dust
  • Moisture
  • Oil & Grease

Strong resistance to damages ensures the images or graphics have an enhanced appearance, making your postcards presentable and professional. Velvet lamination provides stiffness and creates a premium-quality postcard impression compared to other materials.

Premium Finished Products

Although velvet lamination follows the same principle as traditional lamination, it adds a layer of plastic to the paper, making it more resilient, robust, desirable, reliable, and long-lasting.

The most significant difference between traditional postcards and velvet laminated postcards is that they have a softer exterior and a premium quality, thanks to the strength of the bond between the printed material and lamination.

Premium-quality finish means that postcards appear more attractive, smooth, and natural. In addition to postcards, velvet lamination is suitable for book covers, brochures, business cards, and other marketing materials to ensure an adaptable, clean, sleek, and non-glossy finish.

File Setup

In order to ensure your files are print-ready, we recommend that you upload them in PDF format. When you generate a print-ready PDF, your computer will use the settings in Adobe Acrobat Distiller or any other PDF generating programs you may use. Please make sure that these are set properly before generating your PDF file.

If you are uploading PDF files created in Photoshop, please be sure all layers are flattened.

We also accept .JPG (JPEG), and .TIF (TIFF) file types, however PDF is the preferred format.

Check your file to make sure it meets our file creation guidelines. This will help speed up the production of your project and give your printed piece the best results.

  1. Use the CMYK colorspace (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, blacK). These are industry standard printing colors. CMYK colors are different than RGB (Red, Green, Blue), which are used to display colors on your screen.
  2. Use a minimum resolution of 300 dpi for image files.
  3. Specify trim area with crop marks. (Don’t place crop marks inside the work area.)
  4. Artwork should have 1/8″ (0.125″) bleed extending past the trim line. This is to prevent minor cutting variations from leaving unintended results at the trim edge.
  5. Safe Area is the 1/8″ (0.125″) area inside the trim line. Do not put critical information or images within the Safe Area. This is to prevent minor cutting variations from leaving unintended results at the trim edge.
  6. If you want printed borders, they must be placed a minimum of 1/8″ (0.125″) inside the trim line and include bleed. This is to prevent minor cutting variations from leaving unintended results at the trim edge.
